AJ Bischoff Presents Summer 2017 Collection

Summer is coming

Summer is just around the corner!

Vacations. Time off. Free spirit. Road Trips. Parties. BBQs. While you are out having fun, who will you be wearing? Yes, "Who." This year I am embarking on my very first jewelry collection called The Bella Collection. This collection embodies all those things I mentioned above. With the bold colors of light denim, teal, mint, coral, and peony pink (or hot pink as I like to call it), you are sure to get noticed among your friends. I choose Swarovski crystals because of their wide array of colors, shapes, and effects. They allow me to boldly express myself while allowing for consistency in design. With all the options you have, you can always incorporate my pieces with your existing jewelry. The simplicity of my style allows my work to blend seemlessly, much like how the ocean blends with the sky.

You love your new jewelry, but after sitting out for a while, it looks dull. What can you do? Chemical dip cleaners from the local big box stores and jewelry stores are smelly and you really don't want to bother with them. So what do you do? The items you need are either in your pantry or laundry area. Yes. AND, it is better than those harsh, stinky chemicals. The homemade silver and copper based cleaning "recipes" do a total WWF smackdown on tarnish and -- get this -- do NOT affect the metals. Nope. Here's how...

AJ Bischoff Designs' Runway Debut

Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to participate in a local fashion show sponsored by the Alabama Fashion Alliance. This was an exciting night, filled with models, fashion, amazing hair styles, and jewelry. First up was the model walk-off competition. Young women wearing basic black outfits strutted up and down the runway with their most serious faces. Next was a local jewelry designer showcasing her recent designs on several models. Then, finally, it was my turn. I was in the dressing room with all my jewelry pieces laid out on a long table for the models to quickly put on before lining up for the runway. I had 14 necklace and earring sets waiting for their debut on the runway. One by one, the models walked out onto the runway, and AJ Bischoff Designs sparkled and shined under the high energy. Each of the designs had its own title. (All photos taken by Alica Bischoff, except where noted.)

New Season, New Look

Season changes prompt changes in wardrobe, and in my case, my website. Sure, I'll be looking at all the comfy, colorful clothing lines coming out. (I already bought my make-up so I'd better hurry!) This season is a little different. How? My good friends, Dave and Allison, have given me the wonderful opportunity to revamp my website and catapult it into greater things. It's an exciting change and opportunity. Now, I can offer my jewelry directly to people who aren't in my immediate area, or who are not at any of the craft fairs I attend, or don't get to the boutiques and galleries that carry my work. This season, I am focusing on the wonderful colors of fall and winter with my "Juicy Jewels - Modern Metallics" line. Come back often as I will be adding more content. Better yet, sign up for my newsletter so you can stay in touch. Like my Facebook page, too, as I plan on slipping in some discounts there from time to time.

Thanks for stopping by, and remember: Never settle for the ordinary. ~ AJB
